In my last post, I talked about how webcam performers can make a lot more money by signing up to the livejasmin affiliate program.  Once you become a livejasmin affiliate, you are given a unique affiliate link.  This is when the magic happens.

When someone buys credit on the livejasmin site via your special link, (whether he pays for your private show or any other performer’s makes no difference) you will get 20% commission for that sale, as well as 20% for every sale he makes for the lifetime of his membership.

To give you an idea of member spending habits, here are the 7-day statistics on a new member I signed up on Nov. 30th:

livejasmin affiliate program statistics

In only one week, this member spent just under $400.  And I made $140 commission from this guy in the first week alone (20% of $400 should be $80, but there are livejasmin bonus programs so affiliates can actually make a lot more than 20%).

$140/week for each and every member should give you an idea of the earning potential if you had 50+ members signed up.  The point is there is serious money to be made here.

So let’s talk about how to get your affiliate links out there and start collecting commissions.

Facebook

A quick and easy way to get started is to create your own camgirl or camboy facebook page.  You can add friends, flirt with them a little, and then invite them to your webcam via your affiliate link.  Important:  LiveJasmin and facebook don’t take spammers lightly.  If you’re placing unwelcome links all over people’s walls, your “friends” will mark them as spam and your account could get disabled.  Look for groups with similar interests like “I am a sex addict” or “Join this group if you love slutty girls” to find more “appropriate” friends to add.

Twitter

To be honest, I haven’t had a lot of success with Twitter, but a lot of people have.  As with facebook, the key is to continually post and add new friends, just not too quickly or else you risk your account being shutdown.  Tread carefully.

Blog

A better option is a blog.  Keep in mind that blogs take time and effort.  You want to keep writing and updating as much as possible to keep your readers coming back.  Post sexy webcam pictures or videos of yourself.  Talk about yourself and show off your flirty side.  Make your readers want to know you better so that they will pay for more “intimate” webcam time with you via your affiliate link.

Forums

Forums can be another great place to get your affiliate link out there.  You can start your own threads or post replies.  Just be sure to read the forum rules beforehand since many don’t allow affiliate links.  And make sure your audience is appropriate (posting links to sexy webcam girls in an unsexy “golf tips” forum will probably be deleted or ignored).  For best results, post links in adult-related message boards.

Although all the above ideas can work great, if you’re serious about making this work – meaning if you want to quit your regular job – then I strongly suggest you get your own website.  If you’re new to affiliate marketing (creating websites, blogging, getting traffic, etc.) and you need some guidance, get a hold of me at luke@becomewebcamperformer.com with “AFFILIATE TRAINING” written in the subject line.  (I provide free coaching to those who qualify.)

The first $1000 will be the hardest.  From there, it only goes up.
