How To Create An Attractive Cam Model Profile

1 – Show off your sexiest photo

Your photo is the first thing a paying member will see.  It’s important that you use a photo that grabs members’ attention.

Choose a photo that’s sexy, but not too provocative (use non-nude photo).  Your photo should invoke a sense of arousal and intrigue.  You might also consider using a professional photographer.  First impressions are important, and uploading your best photo can easily double or triple your number of chat room visitors.

Some cam models prefer hiding their face in their photos.  This is wise if you’re just getting started and not sure if cam modeling is right for you (read my Should You Become a Webcam Model post or watch my Is Webcam Modeling Right For YOU? video).  Just keep in mind that photos that show your body AND face will get more clicks.

2 – Choose a catchy nickname

A creative name can also catch the attention of members surfing through the online profiles.  Stay away from generic names like “hotgirl69” or “cuteboy4u.”  Instead, choose something unique that differentiates you from other cam models.  Names like “AsianCumWhore17” and “DildoAssPlayer” will get a lot more attention.

Another thing: use capital letters to make your nickname stand out.  For example, “iCumForYou” is better than “icumforyou.”

Here are some examples of niche-specific nicknames that get attention:

“7inchBadBoy”

“TooYoung4U”

“EbonySquirtQueen”

“AbuseMe4Fun”

Of course, personalized names can work just as well as they can give off a sense of realism (do NOT use your real name).  Make it memorable!

“SluttySusan”

“DavidPayne”

“JaneJules”

“MaryTheMistress”

3 – Fill out ALL your sexy details

Your profile is your chance to show people what you’re about.  Don’t be lazy about filling ALL your sexy attributes, even if they’re somewhat exaggerated (it’s okay to play up your sexual prowess, just don’t mislead readers into expecting something that you can’t give them.)  Check out some livejasmin performer profiles here for more ideas on creating a good profile.

I see profiles with work schedules and even categories like “About my show” left blank.  This is a HUGE mistake.  Your profile is like a sales pitch.  You’ve got a sexy body and a great personality, so why not show it off?  Talk about what you like, what you don’t like, and build rapport with your viewers before they even chat with you.

And yes, choose words that convey naughty, even downright dirty imagery.  You’d be surprised how much difference this can make in getting more visitors, and money.
