livejasmin scamWorking in the webcam industry can be really frustrating.  And in today’s post, I’m going to tell you why I’m pissed off.

A while back, my video entitled How To Become An Adult Webcam Model: The 3 Things You Need To Succeed was taken down from YouTube.  Here’s what they told me:

“This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content.”

What bullshit!

Everything I talked about in that video was legit.  When I said that webcam models make $1000 every week working 20-25 hours, I meant it.  Don’t believe me?  Search online and here’s what you’ll find:

Just recently I made a lil over a $1000 for ten hours. which was five days for me at 2 hrs a pop. So I know that if i put my heart into it and actually worked my ass off….I could make the thousands a month.

Do the math, that’s $100/hour!

Logged on, made $10 in the first hour and a half…Took about an hour break…logged back on, made $50 in an hour.

This camgirl averages about $24/hour. Not that great, but still decent money.

Sometimes you might make $10 in an hour, and other times you will make $50 to $100 an hour. I have had good days and bad days. I have been doing this over 2 years now, and I am still learning! The more I learn the more I make…Let’s just say on my worst day I couldn’t even make 20 bucks!!!

This performer averages anywhere between $10-$100/hour.  (If she had more regulars, her hourly wage would be more consistent.)

I have been camming over a year now….Horrible nights I’ve made $10 (LOL).  Great nights I’ve made $500+.  Average pay every 2 weeks around $1500. (working prob one week out of the two)

Assuming she’s working 20 hours/week and two weeks per month, that’s $75/hour.

Of course, these are “average” numbers.  When you look at top performer statistics, you get a very different story:

I make $4000-$6000 a month… Don’t really have “bad days” when I dont make a lot of money because I work diff sites so if its slow one place I’m making $$$ somewhere else. Once you get a solid fanbase it’s much easier, though.

This model makes a very comfortable living!  Clearly, she’s figured it out.  (I also talk all about the importance of building a fan base in my video.)

I don’t web cam myself but know girls that do. One I know made $800 in four hours the other day.

That’s $200/hour!

So when I say LiveJasmin performers make $1000/week working 20-25 hours, it’s not an exaggeration in anyway.

But I can understand why YouTube felt my video was “spam” or “scam.”  I mean, there’s so much bullshit online that it’s hard to trust anyone these days.  And to be fair, YouTube is not an adult friendly site, so it’s no surprise they didn’t like my video.

Anyway, it’s no problem now because I decided to upload my video on my own hosting site.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch it here.

And if you’re thinking of signing up as a new LiveJasmin Performer, it’s NOT a scam.  I’ve been working with them for over two years now, and not once have they ever missed a payout or “scammed” me in anyway.
