“How To Make an Adult Webcam Affiliate Site” Part 2 of 2 (Creating Your Site with WordPress)
Jan 7th
Today’s blog post is a continuation of my How To Build an Adult Webcam Affiliate Site series.
In Part 1, you learned about getting adult-friendly hosting for your adult webcam affiliate site.
Now that you have hosting and a registered domain name, it’s time to create your site using WordPress. WordPress is a fully-functional and customizable free platform. It’s very simple to use and surprisingly versatile.
Creating Your Site
If you created your hosting account following the instructions in Part 1, you will have received a link to your HostGator control panel, along with your username and password. This is where you will create your site.
Step 1 – Log in to your HostGator control panel with your username and password.

Step 2 – In your HostGator control panel, click “QuickInstall” under the “Software/Services” section.

Step 3 – On the next page click “WordPress” under “Blog Software” then click “Continue”. Enter your URL address (leave second box blank if don’t already have a site and want WordPress to be your main site), email address, blog title, and name. Click “Install Now!” You will receive a confirmation email with your WordPress administrator username and password.

Congratulations! You have successfully built and launched your very own site. Now you need to customize it.
Customizing Your Site
First, you want to choose a theme. There are tons of free WordPress themes, and simple to install.
Step 1 – With your WordPress adminstrator username and password, log in to your WordPress adminsatrator panel.

Step 2 – On the left column in your adminstrator panel, select “Themes” under the Appearance header and click on the “Install Themes”. You can click specific features below or just click on “Find Themes” to browse all themes.

Step 3 – Choose a theme you like and click on “Install”.

Step 4 – On the next page, click “Activate” and your theme will automatically be changed. If you decide to change your theme later on, you just have to “Install” a new one and “Activate”.

At this point, you have your own customized website. You will want to play around with different themes and widgets to make it look better, all of which you can install directly from your wordpress adminstrator panel. Then you need to monetize it by copying and pasting the banner codes from your affiliate programs on to your website. When someone clicks on your affiliate banners and signs up, you collect a commission. As you continue to add content to your site, your traffic will continue to grow, along with your commissions.

“How To Make an Adult Webcam Affiliate Site” Part 1 of 2 (Getting Adult-Friendly Hosting)
Jan 6th
These days, you don’t have to be a computer expert to make your own site. The days of spending months learning HTML are gone. Today, you only need a few simple tools to make you look like a tech-savy internet guru. Want to start your own online model agency or affiliate site? It’s not complicated.
Before you can have your own site or blog, you need hosting. Web hosting is a type of Internet hosting service that allows you to make your website accessible via the world wide web. It’s very affordable, and other than about $5/month for hosting, there are NO other costs required to start your own adult affiliate business.
Choosing a Hosting Company
There are many free and paid hosting providers to choose from. Your initial impulse might be to find free hosting. But in my experience, this will only waste time. I see so many affiliates try to “get by” with free hosting, only to end up with ugly looking URLs and/or generic templates, all of which will harm your Google site rankings. Bottom line, if you’re serious about building a successful online business, you need hosting.
I’ve been using HostGator for over two years now and am very pleased with their service (I wish I could say that about my previous service provider). HostGator is an adult-friendly hosting company founded in 2002. They provide hosting service to more than 2.5 million domains and still growing. On top of that, they’ve won numerous awards for “Fastest Growing Private Company in America”, “Reader’s Choice Awards”, and named top in Texas for the recent “Inc 5000 Awards”. In other words, you can trust them.
The Good
HostGator uses the popular cPanel as your control panel to make your life easy. This friendly user-interface is where you will check visitor statistics, create email accounts (yourname@yoursite.com), watch video tutorials, and contact customer support. It’s simple to use and you will get the hang of it in no time. (See HostGator cPanel screenshot below.)

In terms of customer support, HostGator is the best I’ve come across. There’s online staff waiting for you 24/7 and are quick to reply (usually within seconds). There’s also a toll free number but you probably won’t need it since the online support is so fast.
The Bad
Unfortunately, HostGator is a little pricey compared to other hosting companies (about $1/month extra compared to the average). That said, you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, the extra $1 is well worth the top notch customer support.
UPDATE: Thanks to the special discount code ADULTWEBCAM25 given to BecomeWebcamPerformer readers, Hostgator’s price is no longer expensive. Hosting plans now costs as low as $3.71/month (very reasonable price for a good web host like Hostgator). At this moment, I don’t see any drawbacks with Hostgator.
How To Get 25% Discount
Step 1 — Head over to HostGator (will open new window) and click on “VIEW WEB HOSTING PLANS”.

Step 2 — On next page, select “Hatchling Plan” for single domain name or “Baby Plan” for unlimited domain names.

Step 3 — On next page, enter your domain name and Coupon Code: ADULTWEBCAM25 (see below):

Step 4 — On the next page, make sure you see “Coupon Credit (ADULTWEBCAM25 | 25.00 Percent OFF!)“. When you’re done filling out payment details, click “CREATE ACCOUNT”.

Congratulations! You now have hosting with a registered domain name and are ready to create your site! In tomorrow’s post, I will show you how to make your site using WordPress.

Make REAL Money as an Adult Webcam Affiliate (Model Agent)
Jan 5th
There comes a time in every webcam model’s career when performing on webcam becomes more work than fun. When this happens, many models will quit and look for work in the offline world. What they don’t realize is that they could be earning a lot more by using their camming experience to make money as an adult webcam affiliate.
Affiliates (also known as “agents” for webcam model recruiters) get paid for signing up new members or models to the adult webcam networks. AWEmpire (LiveJasmin affiliate site) pays you up to 36% commission for model referrals AND 20% commission FOR LIFE for every new member sign up. Internet Modeling (Streamate affiliate program) pays you 10% commission FOR LIFE for each and every model you refer! So even recruiting a few models could easily double your earnings!
Besides the high potential earnings, the skills you will gain by learning how to make your own affiliate website (which you will learn shortly) can easily be transferred over into the non-adult business world. If you’ve ever considered starting your own online business, then an excellent opportunity exists for you right now.
To get started, you will need to sign up as to an affiliate program to get your own affiliate links. (If you don’t know what an “affiliate program” or “affiliate link” is, then read my How To Make Money With LiveJasmin Affiliate Links posts.) You can then make commissions by posting your affiliate links on Craigslist, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and forums. All these methods have been proven to be effective.
But ultimately, if you want consistent payouts that will continually grow month after month, then you will need your own website. Don’t worry, building a website is NOT hard. And with today’s free site building software, anyone can afford it.
I’ve broken down the entire process of “How To Make An Adult Webcam Affiliate Site” into two important steps. Each step below will be devoted to its own blog post:
My next couple of blog posts are going to be my most ambitious to date. I’m going to give it to you straight — everything you need to know about building your own successful affiliate site in step-by-step details.
I’ve decided to do this as a way to say thank you. The feedback I’ve received from webcam models has been phenomenal. And for those wondering, I have NEVER taken a commission from any of my models’ earnings. The only commissions I get paid are from the affiliate companies, none of which are taken out from model earnings.
Stay tuned for part 1 in tomorrow’s post where I’ll be talking about getting adult-friendly hosting for your adult webcam affiliate site.
